Black content creators to show some extra love this Black History Month

Mega Ran and Sydeon

It’s Black History Month, which means there’s increased attention on black content creators. Here at LoopBreak, we like to keep that celebration going year-round. That said, if you’re looking for black creators to support this BHM, we’ve got some excellent suggestions.

Myth

Ali “Myth” Kabbani is one of the many streamers that have moved from Twitch to Youtube over the past few years. Initially rising to prominence during the Fortnite boom of 2018, Myth has since branched out to become a bit of a variety gamer on his streams. His community is tight-knit, and he always preaches positivity and healthy life habits during his broadcasts.

Boze

Ericka “Boze” Bozeman holds weekly streams on her Twitch channel, where she covers true crime, viral videos, and other prominent news stories. Her streams always have a solid dose of humor, but Boze knows how to reign things in and get serious when necessary. Her streams have a slumber-party vibe, with loyal members of her community using the chat to talk about their favorite shows, snacks, or simply ask each other how their day is going.

Sydeon

Sydney “Sydeon” Parker is a member of OfflineTV, a group of content creators based in Los Angeles. She is often seen playing Valorant, Riot Games’ tactical first-person shooter that launched in 2020. Sydney is the rare black woman in the Valorant community, and her streams are a much-needed change of pace from what viewers usually see on the platform. Her community is welcoming, and her broadcasts are always cozy, laid-back environment.

Mega Ran

In addition to being a talented rapper, Mega Ran is a hell of a gamer. It’s the way that he combines these two passions that make his streams so entertaining. You’ll catch him live-producing new songs, freestyling about his favorite games and characters, or streaming old-fashioned play-throughs of his most beloved titles.

Cypheroftyr

Tanya DePass, known as Cypheroftyr online, is an all-around online content creator. She’s a major player in the TTRPG and actual play space, serving as the Creative Director on the Mother Lands RPG, and a member of the Rivals of Waterdeep crew. On her Twitch channel, you can often find her streaming RPG and adventure games like Destiny 2 and Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Those are just some of the many black content creators that we love watching on Twitch and YouTube. We’ll be updating this list throughout February, so bookmark it and come back later!
